The 32nd Danube Island Festival, Europe’s largest Open Air Festival with free entrance,

takes place at Vienna, from 26th to 28th of June 2015.

The Danube Island Festival not only belongs to the largest and most successful open-airs, but

also to the safest and offers entertainment to all generations.

The Viennese Danube Island Festival clearly differs from other music festivals by its

€ 87,8 mil. in total. The media value (weighted value) amounted to € 41,5 mil.

18.514 local, national and international media coverage broached the issue of Danube Island

Festival. Due to this media presence, the Danube Island Festival attracted visitors from all

over the world.

The Danube Island Festival generates an essential advertising effect for the city of Vienna

and the Viennese tourism.
