Thirty Years of Cheval Passion!

In
the heart of winter in Avignon, from 21 to 25 January
2015, Avignon Tourisme celebrates the 30^th
anniversary of Cheval Passion, at the Avignon Fairgrounds. A festive programme
and lots of special events have been planned for this 30^thanniversary, including a very special Crinières d’Or gala. This new
edition brings together all the stars of today and all the up and coming talent,
in new offerings and for the traditional events that have made Cheval Passion so
very popular. At Cheval Passion 2015 you will find: 1,200 horses, 250 exhibitors
and 100,000 visitors expected, competitions (western,
horse-ball, livestock sorting, dressage, etc.), 90 hours of shows, evening fun
at the cabarets – the Cabaret Équestre and the Bodega, games, and gifts to win,
plus 5 performances of the Crinières d’Or Gala.

Cheval Passion continues to live up to
its reputation as the place to be for the very best in new European equestrian
creations. The 2015 Cheval Passion performances feature an exceptional line-up
of riders in the Crinières d’Or ring. Come see the master of dressage en liberté
Jean-François Pignon, Théâtre du Centaure with Camille and Manolo, highly
talented young rider Lucie Vauthier, outstanding Julien Gonin and the jumpers
from the Horseman Team, absolutely magical Sylvie Willms and her Oriental
dancers, the Noroc troup with Nicolas Andreani and the world voltige champions
in acrobatics in a luminous performance, the Haras – French national stables,
the Amazons and the Camargue horses from La Montagnette. The prestigious cavalry
regiment from the Garde Républicaine will add a brand new show, continuing the
celebrated series they have built up over 25 years at the Crinières d’Or. The
musicians from the Harmonie orchestra and dancers from the Grand Avignon
conservatory add their talents to the mix, joyfully accompanying the horses and
