Jazz Contest
20 yaers old
JULY 12th – 14 th
For 20 years now, the village has been hosting the Megève Jazz Contest every summer.
14 groups from throughout Europe, all finalists from previous editions, are coming to Megève for the competition of amateur New Orleans Jazz orchestras, held in the streets of the village.
A festive atmosphere guaranteed with a final at the sports center between
the four best groups selected by a jury of professionals.
New this year, a 1920s theme costumed ball, open to all, in the evening of Saturday 13th.

Friday 12th
Selections: 5-9.15pm – 14 concerts – Village podiums.
Saturday 13th

Semi-fi nals: 4-8pm – 8 concerts – Village podiums
1920s costumed ball, Saturday 13th, 10.45pm, in the village
square.
Sunday 14th
Final: 11.30am, giant parade of all musicians through the
village streets / 4pm Jazz entertainment / 9pm, fi nal at the
sports centre / 11pm, results, prize ceremony, jam-session.
Non-competition
Free concerts in the village’s restaurants and bars, Saturday
13th and Sunday 14th.
