SSE ARENA, WEMBLEY HAVE PAID TRIBUTE TO DAVID BOWIE WITH A COLOURFUL
DISPLAY ON OUR DIGITAL SCREEN.

The
SSE Arena, Wembley,
have paid tribute to the late Pop Icon David
Bowie
today by posting a colourful digital banner on our Gable End Screen
at the front of the venue building. News broke this morning of
Bowie’s death after an 18 month battle with cancer.
The
pink, red and blue digital banner features an image of Bowie from the
album ‘Aladdin Sane’ with a simple ‘1947- 2016’.
The
image has been exclusively displayed on the digital screen at the
iconic and world renowned venue, for the duration of Monday 11th
January 2016 and is also currently scheduled to remain in rotation
until Saturday 16th
January 2016.
Bowie
had played The SSE Arena, Wembley on numerous occasions from 1976
until his most recent appearance in November 2003 on his last world
tour, ‘A Reality Tour’, where he played the venue on two
consecutive nights.
