“STOP ALL’ANSIA”

The video for “STOP ALL’ANSIA”, the debut single from young Apulian singer-songwriter Rosanna D’Aprile, is now online.

Joining Rosanna in the video is the ORCHESTRA MANCINA, who collaborated with her on the creation of the track.

“I wrote ‘STOP ALL’ANSIA’” – says Rosanna D’Aprile – “to express my need to say enough to the hectic life we all lead daily, and to reclaim my own space and time. I wanted to replace the frenzy with a desire to slow down and live more serenely and harmoniously with each other. Plus, the song’s cheerful rhythm makes me forget my worries and start dancing whenever I listen to it!”

Rosanna embarked on her professional singing career after years of self-study and private lessons, drawn to American soul music. In 2006, she joined the local funk band LDP, which gained moderate success in Puglian clubs with their original songs. They received favorable reviews from local press and won a contest that allowed them to perform nationally as guests on Red Ronnie’s “Roxy Bar.” Rosanna has collaborated with numerous hip-hop artists, including Tormento, Kaos Wako, Ser Tatì, Laby, Suba, and Cristian Dj. She has performed professionally across southern Italy with various bands. In 2012, she reached the final phase of X Factor with her vocal group Akmè. She has worked with Arisa and Giuseppe Barbera, and performed with Robbie Williams. She trained with Giorgia’s vocal coach and performed under the artistic direction of Luca Tommassini. Rosanna recorded a cover of Franco Battiato’s “Voglio vederti danzare” for SONY Records and sang live on Simona Ventura’s “Cielo che gol” on national TV. In April 2015, her first single “Io sono qui” was selected by Radio Capital to participate in Capitalent, earning multiple radio plays and live interviews. In September 2015, she released the single “Stop all’ansia”.
